We were pleased to accept Sky Living’s invitation to plan and execute social media campaigns for four of its shows. The most high-profile and comprehensive of these was the campaign to accompany a season of its hit show Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model.
As well as writing and posting planned promos on Twitter and Facebook, we also promoted debate and discussion among viewers by posing questions around controversial moments in the series – and engaged directly with the contestants, encouraging them to get people talking about it. This approach not only generated publicity for the show, but channelled and contained a potentially damaging negative reaction to one unpopular judging decision.
“Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model is a flagship show for Sky Living, so it was crucial all content relating to the programme was effectively promoted through social media – and in real time. Content Creatives took on this task with professionalism and reliability, engaging with users and encouraging interaction.
“The show’s Facebook page has amassed around 160,000 likes and the Twitter feed has attracted around 6,000 followers. Content Creatives created a dialogue with users to drum up interest and to publicise competitions. The response has been outstanding; so much so that we published a weekly social media round-up to share an overview of the comments being made about the show.
“Content Creatives made us aware of any viewer comments and queries, helping us to become a responsive site and to serve consumers better. A diligent and pro-active team, I can highly recommend them.” – Karli Drinkwater, Producer, Sky Living
